Privacy
VersionPill stores product memory you and your agents put on the desk. This page covers the website, the board, and the MCP connector.
What we collect
Account details you give us (email, name, workspace). Product board data you create: tasks, epics, cycles, vision, ship drafts, ideas, comments, and session notes. OAuth connection records when an agent is authorized. Optional billing details if you upgrade off Hobby.
How it is used
To run the desk, show the same board to your team, and let an authorized agent read or write that board through MCP. We do not sell your workspace data. We do not use your board as advertising inventory.
Agents and MCP
When you connect Claude, Cursor, Grok, ChatGPT, or another MCP client, you authorize that client to call VersionPill tools as you. The client can read and change board data in the workspace you pick. You can revoke the connection from the desk. Short-lived OAuth tokens expire; API keys you mint stay valid until you revoke them.
Storage and processors
Data lives on our hosted backend. Traffic is served through Cloudflare. Email and billing providers see only what they need to send mail or charge a plan. We do not pass your board to unrelated third-party models.
Retention
Workspace data stays while the account is active. You can delete cards, products, and keys from the desk. Ask us to close an account and we remove workspace data that is no longer needed to run the service or meet the law.
